On 5th July 2003, Robert married Eleanor at Chartridge, a
few miles away from Chesham. It was a sunny day, and the Dadswells were
late. They arrived with two minutes to spare before the wedding
ceremony began.
Little did they know that the Ikins were later than
that, and they were ushered into the room with less than a minute to go.
Little did they know that Russell was even
later, and he didn't actually get to see the marriage at all.
